The Minimum and Maximum requirements for Windows 7

• 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
• 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
• 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
• DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

1) Boost your Windows Start-up speed:

Windows was very slow in Booting in ancient processors. But you can slightly increase your strarup speed by doing this trick.

• Click on Start+R (that is Run)
• Type "msconfig" on  Run and Click on Ok.
• Go to "Startup" tab.
• And Uncheck the Unwanted Programs that were Being checked.

CAUTION! Don't uncheck the Antivirus Program and Other Essential program for Windows.

• Click on "Apply" and "Ok"
• And restart your System.

Now you may feel your system speed before you done this process.

Boost you PC Performance:

2) Delete the Unwanted Files:

• Delete the unwanted files especially music, video and Image files in you directories. Because the video file takes the large memory. Search your folders and delete these unwanted files. Don't delete any Files in your C: because it may harm your PC.
• This is another tip: Go to Start and Click on "Run" or press start button+R. And type "temp" there. It will show you a folder, delete all those files. No come back to run. and type " %temp% " and delete those files. 

3) Defragment you Hard disk:

You have to defragment your Hard disk regularly to maintain your system System Healthy. You can do defragment process without any additional software. You can do this by : Right Click on your Drive and Click on Properties. In Properties go to Tools tab and Click on "Defragment  now...". 

4) Turn Off Indexing Service:

Indexing is additional software which takes a lot of space. It's used to save your search and used to search fasts when you search for files and Folders. This process will not damage or harm your PC. To turn of Indexing

•  Go to Control Panel
• Search for "Indexing".
• Click on "Indexing Options" Which appears on Search results.

• And click on "Modify".
• Now Uncheck All.
• Click on Ok.

5) Check for Viruses and Malwares:

You have to scan you PC regularly for prevent Data loss. This may reduce your PC's speed too. Update your Antivirus software regularly and schedule it to Scan your PC atleast weekly. If you don't have a Antivirus download a Trail version of an antivirus Software and Buy an new one. Because some viruses were designed to slow your PC's process!!

6) Uninstall unused Softwares:

Your PC may be installed with some sotwares that you never used. You have to uninstall those software to save your's PC memory and Load time. Don't install Adobe Photoshop like softwares if you never used it. It may increase your Load time.

7) Turn off Windows Aero mode:

It's used to give a good look to your PC that it enables a Glass-like look. You have to disable this service by: 

• Right Click on Desktop.
• Click on "Personalization".
• Go to "Windows Color".
• Uncheck "Enable Transparency".
• Click on Ok.

8) Install CCleaner:

It's a application software developed by Piriform. It's used for many specialized functions and it's very useful too. 

• Go to: www.piriform.com/ccleaner 
• Download and Install CCleaner.
• Run CCleaner per day to delete unwanted system files and Corrupted Registry Files.

3 ways to unlock hidden theme in Windows 7

Hello friends, I'm Sriram and today I'm going to post How to unlock hidden Wallpapers in Windows 7. On default Windows 7 has 7 Aero Themes and 6 Basic and High Contrast Themes. The Themes which I going to show is the hidden theme which is not found in default. There are 2 ways to unlock the hidden Theme. 

The Hidden Themes Present in Windows 7 were:-

• Canada
• South Africa
• United Kingdom (Great Britain)
• Australia

Method :1 to unlock Hidden Themes

• Go to 'Computer'
• Go to C: or your Windows OS directory
• Now go to 'Windows' Folder.
• Go to ‘Globalization’ folder.
• And Search for ‘MCT’ on the Folder Search box on top-right of the Folder.
• There you can find 5 folders namely:
• MCT-ZA
• MCT-US
• MCT-GB    
• MCT-CA
• MCT-AU
• There are the folders in which it contains hidden themes.
• Now go to these folders and go the “Theme” Subfolder.
• And open the **.theme file.
• Now your Theme is installed.

Method :2 to unlock Hidden Themes

• Go to 'Computer'
• Go to C: or your Windows OS directory
• Now go to 'Windows' Folder.
• Go to ‘Globalization’ folder.
• Now click on Organize.

• Then Go to "Folder and Search options".
• And then go to  view tab.
• And untick the "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)"
• It shows a warning click on Ok. and apply it.
• Now go to "MCT" folder and apply the themes.

Method: 3

·       Go to Computer.

·       Now Search for “ZA.theme” on Search Box.

·       And Open that file.

·       And search for “GB.theme” and open it.

·       Do for another two’s.

The Traffic is very important for every Blog and Blogger. There are many ways to get traffic to your sites. But some of them was Legit. I'm going to How submit your Blog to a large directory. Getting approved is very hard like Google Adsense and it takes many more days, months even years to get your Blog Listed on DMOZ. It is good for your Blog SEO. 

What is DMOZ? 

DMOZ is a Open Directory Project (ODP) which is a largest human edited directory. Web sites are listed in categories on this project. Each category is linked to relevant categories; the categories have a tree-like structure too. (Source :Wikipedia)

What are the Advantages of Submitting URL to DMOZ ?

• Google takes URL's directly from DMOZ.
• Many other search engines like Yahoo, AOL,Bing and other 100+ search engines take URL's from DMOZ.
• Improving SEO.

Rules for Submitting a URL or Site to DMOZ:

• Do not submit mirror sites. Mirror sites are sites that contain identical content, but have altogether different URLs.
• Do not submit URLs that contain only the same or similar content as other sites you may have listed in the directory.  Sites with overlapping and repetitive content are not helpful to users of the directory.  Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites.
• Do not disguise your submission and submit the same URL more than once.
  Example: http://www.dmoz.org and http://www.dmoz.org/index.html
• Do not submit any site with an address that redirects to another address.
• The Open Directory has a policy against the inclusion of sites with illegal content. Examples of illegal material include child pornography; libel; material that infringes any intellectual property right; and material that specifically advocates, solicits or abets illegal activity (such as fraud or violence).
• Do not submit sites "under construction." Wait until a site is complete before submitting it. Sites that are incomplete, contain "Under Construction" notices, or contain broken graphics or links aren't good candidates for the directory.
• Submit pornographic sites to the appropriate category under Adult.
• Submit non-English sites to the appropriate category under World.
• Don't submit sites consisting largely of affiliate links.

How to submit your Blog/Website to DMOZ?

Here is the RTS tutorial.

• First go to dmoz.org
• Find your Site's relevant category. For me I choose Computers: Internet: On the Web: Weblogs: FAQs, Help, and Tutorials. if you have a site like me You can choose this. 
• After choosing your category click on "Suggest URL" on the top-right of the category.
• In the "Title of Site:" Field type your Blog's Title. (Use a short title as possible like "Revealing The Stuffs")

Enter your Title

• On the "Site Description" field enter your brief description of your site less than 25-30 words.

Enter your Site description

•  On the E-mail address field enter your E-Mail address. Enter a E-mail address like this "sriram@revealingthestuffs.com" .
• Type the Word Verification.
• Click on Submit.
• 
  

Conclusion:

Getting listed is very difficult. You have to wait for some times to see your site listed on DMOZ. Once your Site's URL submitted, don't submit it again on the next month and so on. How to redirect Blogger to a custom Domain ? (UPDATED)

Hello Everybody! In this post I'm going to show you how to redirect Blogger to a Custom domain. A Blog's popularity and reputation will increase with a paid domain. And Every Blogger wants a custom domain name. This post is updated because it will show you how to redirect Blogger domain that is .blogspot.com to a TLD (Top Level Domain) . I purchased Domain from Bigrock.

First Step ( Setting up A records)

What is A record used for?

A record is used to redirect a domain to original domain without "www" like if you have "www.revealingthestuffs.com" as your main domain if users type "revealingthestuffs.com" it shows an 404 error. To avoid this you have to set up these records.

• First go to your domain DNS settings.
• Click on "A" records.
• Now you can see three fields.
• On the "Host name" field, leave it blank (if you want a domain like blog.yourdomain.com type Blog there"
• On the IP address field type "216.239.32.21" 
• Add 3 another records like this with this Google IP address:

                          216.239.34.21
                          216.239.36.21
                          216.239.38.21

• Now you can see four A records.

Second Step (Setting up CNAME records)

• Now go to your Domain DNS settings.
• Click on "CNAME" records.
• On the "Host Name" field enter "www"
• On the value fields enter "ghs.google.com".
• Click on Add CNAME records.
• Now come to second step this is the important step for domain verification by Google.
• Go to Blogger>Settings>Basic>Publishing> and click on "settings instructions" or read the step by Clicking here.
• You can see a second CNAME be added on that page.
• Create an another CNAME record and add those.
• It takes 5-6 hours to propagate throughout the internet. So please wait for 5-6 hours.

Last Step (Adding it to Blogger)

• Go to Blogger
• And Go to Settings>Basic>Publishing.
• Type your new domain name on that field.
• Now your Blogger successfully redirect to your New domain name.
